In addition to keeping your engine covered with Sunbrella marine canvas, there are a few other things you should do regularly in order to help maintain the life of your engine. Here are a few tips for properly caring for your boat engine.
Remember to Flush! After a fun day on the water, make sure to thoroughly flush your engine when you get back. Dirt and debris need to be cleaned away, and salt can be very corrosive if not flushed out. This shouldn’t take more than 10-15 min and by doing so, you are ensuring many more fun outings.
